Official Sweepstakes Rules

Solarity Credit Union’s Sasquatch Photo Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is governed by these official rules. By participating in the promotion, each entrant agrees to these official rules. Results of the promotion are final in all respects. The promotion is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

NO PURCHASE, ACCOUNT OR TRANSACTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE OR HAVING A SOLARITY ACCOUNT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins Wednesday, July 5, 2023, and ends on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to all legal U.S. residents who successfully fulfill the requirements of entry and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age.

PARTICIPATING LOCATION: The Sweepstakes is offered at Solarity’s location listed in the Sweepstakes announcement. No other Solarity locations are participating in this Sweepstakes.

HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter:

• Method #1 Tag Solarity on social media. To receive one entry via the tagging method, take a photograph of your Solarity Sasquatch, upload the photograph to Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram and tag Solarity Credit Union in your post. Entries must be complete and received during the Sweepstakes Period to be entered into the drawing.
• Method #2: Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”). To receive one entry into the Sweepstakes without having a Solarity Sasquatch or tagging Solarity on social media, print your full name, complete home address, email address, phone number, age and “Sasquatch Sweepstakes” on a 3 x 5 inch piece of paper. Send it by United States mail in a sealed envelope no larger than 9 ½” x 4 ¼” (a #10 envelope) with correct postage to Solarity Sasquatch Sweepstakes, ATTN: Marketing, PO Box 2922, Yakima, WA 98907. Each Mail-In Entry must be mailed separately and must be postmarked between Wednesday, July 5, 2023, and Saturday, September 30, 2023, and received by Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Photocopied, illegible or mechanically reproduced entries are not eligible. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected or postage-due mailed entries.

LIMIT: 1 entry per person, regardless of method of entry. All methods of entry have an equal chance of winning. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

PRIZE: Sweepstakes Sponsor will award prize described in the Sweepstakes Description. Sweepstakes Sponsor retains the right to substitute the Prize with a Gift Card of equal value at Sweepstakes Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Terms and conditions may apply. Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

WINNER SELECTION: One winner will be randomly selected from among all qualified entries submitted during the Sweepstakes Period. Winner selection will be determined within seven (7) business days of the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Individuals need not be present to win.

The odds of winning Prize depend on the total number of qualified entries submitted. Sweepstakes Sponsor will notify the prizewinner personally by either telephone, email or postal mail using the contact information supplied within the Sweepstakes Entry. It shall be the responsibility of entrants to provide contact information within their Sweepstakes Entry in order to be eligible to collect the prize. Entrants may be asked to provide proof of eligibility to enter.

No transfer or substitution of prizes by Prize Winner is permitted. All federal, state, and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner. Prize may be subject to Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 reporting. Winner must claim his or her prize within seven (7) business days of being notified by Sweepstakes Sponsor or entrant will be deemed to have forfeited his/her prize. Should a prize be forfeited, an alternate winner will be chosen from the remaining eligible entrants in a separate random drawing conducted by Sweepstakes Sponsor.

RESTRICTIONS: Members of the official family of Solarity Credit Union, defined as directors, officers, volunteers, and employees of Solarity and its affiliates, and their immediate family members and persons residing in the same household, are prohibited from participating in any Solarity-sponsored Sweepstakes, drawings, or prizes and are not eligible to enter or win. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Offer void in Puerto Rico and where otherwise restricted or prohibited by law. Solarity Credit Union reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or terminate this drawing if any act or occurrence gives Solarity officials reason to believe that the integrity, administration, or fairness of the Sweepstakes has been corrupted.

ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS: Prior to receipt of their prize, the prizewinner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and must grant permission to publish his/her name and likeness in Solarity’s social media platforms, member communications and advertisements, and otherwise as Solarity sees fit in its sole discretion. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold Solarity Credit Union harmless from any liability, claims, losses, or damages arising out of or relating to their participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this Sweepstakes.

WINNER LIST: For a communication identifying the winner of the prize, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Solarity Credit Union, Attn: Marketing Department, PO Box 2922, Yakima, WA 98907. Requests must be received by within 30 days of the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Allow 4 weeks for delivery of communication.

GENERAL: All prize claims are subject to final verification by the Sweepstakes Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion. All federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations apply. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, incorrect, or illegible prize entries, and all such entries are void. Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, THE FACEBOOK® PLATFORM, ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE.
